Prolific, enthusiastic, creative and gifted, Tanja Storm is a multi-talented and skilled vocalist, instrumentalist and music director. “Music is part of me - it is who I am.”

From a young age, she was singing, performing, and playing a variety of instruments.  Throughout the course of her musical career, Tanja has won over the hearts of music lovers from all walks of life; performing at a variety of venues, making loads of public appearances, all the while writing new music.

Born in Melkbosstrand, Cape Town, South Africa, Tanja relocated to the picturesque Garden Route. She was playing keyboard since the age of seven and took classes in both music and modern dancing. She continued her studies in both these fields and started to perform as keyboard player and backing vocalist for different bands since 1999.

Spurred on by the positive reaction of her audiences, Tanja decided to take the music industry by storm. She subsequently released her first CD in 2009, with her music video Te vergeefs being broadcast on KykNet.

Recently returning to studio after years of successful projects with various cover bands and theatre work, numerous of her latest singles have hit number 1 on our local SA music charts. Her second music video Môreson, is also broadcast on KykNet. Tanja Storm’s much anticipated second album, Ek is Oppad, was released in July 2019.
