Albert Meintjes, hailing from Pretoria, and Tanja Storm, from the Cape of storms, might come from different parts of South Africa, yet their paths have converged in the scenic Garden Route. Albert Meintjes began captivating South African audiences with his unique blend of folk and acoustic music in 1996. With two albums released with Scicoustic, one album as Algrecko with Greg Georgiades, and his debut solo album “The Very Silence of Waiting in this Place” released in April 2017, Albert’s music continues to inspire, and in 2020 he released his second solo album “Peace & Tunes”. His latest single, Freedom not only showcases his evolving artistry but also earned him two Global Music Awards in 2020.

Albert and Tanja recently formed a duo and travel all over the continent.
